23/05/15 Nabs Head today announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. Now in its fifth year, the award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve great l reviews on TripAdvisor. Certificate of Excellence winners include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honourees that takes into account the quality, quantity and recency of reviews and opinions submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period as well as business’s tenure and ranking on the Popularity Index on the site. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

Lunetta (a Little Moon in Italian) celebrates life as small pleasures. The grapes are handpicked and vinified at Cavits state-of-the-art sparkling wine facility in the northern Italian region of Trentino, at the largest facility in Italy dedicated exclusively to producing world-class sparkling wines.
Enticing aromas of apple and peach give way to a palate that is refreshing, and harmonious, with crisp fruit flavors and a clean finish.

Lunetta Prosecco is delightful as an aperitif or enjoyed with antipasti, hors d’ oeuvres, sushi, shellfish and seafood. 11% abv

We have a new house cask beer brewed for us by Daniel Thwaites – but we need a name for this brew.

We want you to come up with a name that will be individual to our pub.

Our new beer will be available to sample from the end of April and with your help will have a name by the end of May.

Job Description

Main duties include working alongside chef/s, learning practical cookery/food preparation skills and safe and hygienic working practices.

The Apprentice chef will be trained how to use knives, work to multiple food checks, prepare dishes according to our menu, organise work area and work to Environmental Health and Safety standards.

The ideal candidate should be able to work in a team, use their own initiative and be proactive and confident in their approach to work.
